Although my paintings presents a clear realistic subject my purpose is not to imitate reality, or recreate a situation. My artwork always reveals just a fragment of some scene, while withholding the complete structure; this concealment creates a narrative vacuum and helps generate detached scenes that are not part of a foretold storyline. Thus, the meanings and stories of each image are left for the viewer to create and understand.
The subject I choose to paint are familiar every day elements, my fascination lies within the simplicity of existence and the beauty of it. The technic I use is inconsistent and affected by time chance and happy accidents.
